Diabetes Mellitus Type II taking Metformin

This study compares a new GLP-1 daily injection to Byetta in Diabetes Mellitus Type II patients with insufficient glycemic control on Metformin. To participate in this study, patients must be taking at least 1500 mg of metformin daily and be willing to continue their metformin treatment throughout the duration of this study.
