High Blood Pressure in Patients with
Diabetes Mellitus Type II

This study evaluates the safety and effectiveness of a hypertension medication taken by patients who are also diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus Type II.

Are you between the age of 18 and 85 years old?


Do you have a documented history of Stage I or II Hypertension for at least one year?


Have you been taking medication for your hypertension with no changes in dose for at least one month?


Have you been on a stable anti-diabetic regimen for a minimum of 3 months?
Stable regimen is defined as no changes to your diet, medication or dose.


Are you taking either an ACE or an ARB for your hypertention?



Have you taken a beta blocker for your hypertension within the previous month?



Have you taken clonidine during the previous 3 months?


Please list all medications you are currently taking.
