Opioid-Induced Constipation

Men and women who suffer from chronic pain often experience constipation as a side effect of their opioid pain medication. Also known as Opioid-Induced Constipation (OIC), this common condition can also cause the feeling of being sick, tired, bloated and even loss of appetite.

Protenium Clinical Research is currently seeking men and women to volunteer to participate in a clinical research study that evaluates an investigational medication intended to treat OIC.

You may qualify if you:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have a history of chronic, non-cancer pain
- Are currently taking an opioid pain medication
- Have constipation due to taking an opioid pain medication
(Additional criteria may apply)

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost, and may be compensated for time and travel.

To receive more information about this study, please take a moment to complete our online survey or you may call us directly at 817-281-4156.

Study volunteers are not required to complete this online survey in order to be considered for participation in this study. The purpose of this online survey is for us to collect your contact information as well as a brief medical history to help determine your eligibility.

All information provided will be considered confidential and will not be shared outside of Protenium Clinical Research.
